A lifelong Miami resident, Rosa M. Villa, Esq. brings a strong, practical perspective to complex legal matters. She began her career in insurance defense litigation, handling breach of contract disputes and representing insurers in First Party Property, Workers’ Compensation, and Employment Law matters.
Her experience at leading state and national firms sharpened her skills in employment defense litigation, including claims under Title VII, ADEA, ADA, FMLA, FCRA, FLSA, and whistleblower statutes, with successful results in both federal and state courts as well as arbitration.
Rosa founded Villa Law to provide strategic, client‑focused legal representation to startup founders, business owners, and creatives throughout South Florida. Her practice centers on intellectual property law, entertainment law, employment law, and brand protection and licensing, helping clients protect their ideas, resolve disputes, and navigate federal and state workplace laws with confidence. She handles complex matters involving breach of contract, trademark and copyright issues, employment compliance, and workplace claims, offering clear legal strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
Rosa’s legal foundation includes a merit scholarship at Florida International University’s Honors College, where she studied Philosophy with a pre‑law focus, and a merit‑based scholarship at the University of Miami School of Law. She expanded her experience through roles with the Hispanic National Bar Association and the Intellectual Property Law Institute, and through internships with in‑house counsel at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts and BBC Studios, drafting licensing agreements for international brands and artists.

Through Villa Law, Rosa leverages her litigation experience, strategic business insight, and unwavering commitment to client advocacy to deliver effective, results‑driven legal representation.
